We’re Makaila and Guy — partners in life and now in business. When we started planning our own wedding, we were just like any engaged couple: excited, nervous, hopeful… and then life took an unexpected turn. After Makaila lost her Nana, we stopped all planning but chose to honor our original date and get married at the courthouse. That day wasn’t what we first imagined, but it reminded us what weddings are really about: love, intention, and choosing each other.
While planning our wedding, Makaila discovered just how much of our wedding she could create herself — from personalized stationery to the tiny touches that made it feel uniquely us. That sparked the idea for Sealed With A Vow.
Now, we offer wedding officiant services, coordination, custom stationery, and day-of support — all designed to help couples celebrate in a way that feels true to them. We're proudly all-inclusive and work with couples of all backgrounds, beliefs, and identities. Love is love, and we’re honored to help tell your story.

I’m Guy — the calm in the chaos and the person who makes sure everything runs smoothly. My background has always involved structure, problem-solving, and helping things (and people) stay on track. When Makaila mentioned the idea of us working together to support couples, I didn’t hesitate.
As your officiant or behind-the-scenes logistics lead, I focus on keeping your day flowing with ease. I’m grounded, thoughtful, and here to help make your ceremony — and everything around it — feel organized, relaxed, and real.

A Perfectionist on Every Detail
I'm Makaila — detail lover, DIY queen, and your go-to person for turning “just an idea” into something beautiful and meaningful. Starting to plan our own wedding opened my eyes to how personal the little things can be — from vows to signage — and how powerful it is to create them from the heart.
After designing all of our stationery and realizing how much I enjoyed the process, I knew I wanted to help other couples do the same. I now offer custom wedding stationery, coordination, and officiant services — all with a calm, supportive energy and a genuine love for helping people feel seen.
